Michael Somoroff is a photographer, director and conceptual artist. He has photographed and created critically acclaimed content for major magazines, advertising agencies, as well as a wide breadth of publications and cultural institutions around the globe. The results of his creative endeavors are well represented in museum collections, international art fairs, galleries and diverse cultural platforms of all kinds.

He is an official “artist in residence” at the Wyss Translational Center, Zurich. He is a teacher and cultural commentator who has contributed to the programs of such prominent academic and cultural institutions as the State University of New York at Stony Brook; the University of the Arts, Philadelphia, PA; the Rothko Chapel, Houston, TX; and the International Center of Photography, New York City. His work is represented in the collections of The Museum pf Modern Art, NYC, Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, ICP­; The International Center of Photography, NYC, Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden Library, Smithsonian Institution, Washington, D.C., Museo Correr, Venice, Italy.
